Health and Safety are a fundamental part of FMK’s mission to improve th e quality of life. FMK is committed to achieving a global health and safety culture and world-class health and safety performance. We believe that integrating health & safety into everything we do will minimize the risk to people and property.


The following mandatory principles define our expectations and guide our actions.


Principle 1
We are committed to providing working conditions and client services that are safe and healthy. Safety is a condition of employment for all FMK employees.

Principle 2
We will comply with all applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and agreed client standards in each country where we operate. We will assess risk and establish safe work systems and procedures to protect our employees, clients, customers and others affected by our business.

Principle 3
FMK’s values on operational progress as our foundation of FMK’s health and safety culture. Our senior leadership and all employees are expected to personally demonstrate their commitment to support and improve our health an safety culture.

Principle 4
We will clearly define management and employee health & safety responsibilities. All employees are required to observe our health & safety rules and procedures and use all health & safety equipment provided.

Principle 5
We will ensure our employees have an understanding of health & safety appropriate for their role. We will provide the appropriate information, instruction and training required to work safely.

Principle 6
The engagement of our employees, clients, contractors, customers and suppliers is essential to improve safety behaviours and practices. To achieve this, we will communicate and consult widely on health & safety matters.

Principle 7
We will maintain safe access and exit arrangements for all company workplaces. Established emergency procedures will be regularly tested and periodically reviewed.

Principle 8
We require all accidents and incidents to be reported as well as lessons learned implemented.

Principle 9
We will continuously improve our performance and to do this we will ensure adequate resources are provided.

Principle 10
We will regularly monitor and report on our health and safety management system to ensure it remains effective.

• FMK is responsible for all catering affairs, including the production, supply and service and has agreed and approved Food Safety Policy.

• FMK is committed to producing and supplying food that is safe and meets all legal requirement, so it shall ensure that all food supplied to our client is produced to high standards of safety and whole someness, in accordance with Food Hygiene Reg 2009 and the principles of HACCP.

• FMK shall provide adequate and appropriate resources (I.E premises, facilities, equipment, protective clothing, staff, supervision, information, instruction and training) to assist in the implementation of the above.

• It is the duty of all FMK staff and trainees concerned with the production, supply and service of food to work in a manner conducive to the above.

• FMK will ensure that this policy is applied throughout all its places where a food business is operated and that all staff involved are aware of their responsibilities.

• FMK will ensure that this policy is reviewed regularly.

Fenomena Majukaya Sdn Bhd are committed to providing high quality service which meets the expectations of our clients and customers. Our standards will be delivered and maintained by our employees and client approved vendors.

FMK will:
• Use an effective management system to ensure the quality of our service.
• Conduct our service in accordance with respective state legislative requirements.
• Ensure our work is conducted safely and utilize facilities that do not expose any personnel to unnecessary hazards.
• Report and investigate incidents, to implement systems and practices that prevent recurrence.
• Encourage team problem solving through all levels of the company to identify and implement work practices that continually improve quality standards and productivity.
• Train employees to competently carry out their work in accordance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Provide information to all employees, contractors, suppliers, customers and clients that inform them on our service quality issues.

Responsibilities

Management is accountable for implementing this policy.

• Complying with FMK quality policies and standards.
• Training employees and line managers in the competent performance of their assigned duties.
• Effectively use company resources to meet the quality of service commitment.

Employees, Contractors and Suppliers are to:

• Comply with all FMK policies, procedures and standards on service quality.
• Report all known or observed service inconsistencies to their supervisor.
• Actively support the company’s service quality program.

Fenomena Majukaya Sdn Bhd will fully support Stop Work for Safety shall beimplemented when - Life is in Danger, Equipment could be Damaged or an Environmental Incident is about to occur.

You and all other personnel working on the working premises are empowered with the Authority and Responsibility by the company to STOP the Job, due to an unsafeandor an unrecognized situation developing at the job site, if in your opinion, you feel:

• Your or somebody else's, life is in danger.
• You or others could be injured.
• Company equipment is or could be damaged.
• The environment may sustain harm by pollution.

Note 1:
Your supervisor and / or person in charge must be immediately notified if you consider such a situation is occurring or developing without their.

Note 2:
This is NOT to be used as an excuse "not to perform an activity" other than, the task being considered unsafe / excessively hazardous to proceed.

Smoking and the use of tobacco products is a personal choice. However, it does impose occupational health hazards directly on other employees through exhaled smoke, which is a proven health hazard to non-smokers, and discarded "dip" spittoons containing saliva.

Smoking is also dangerous in that it poses direct fire and explosive hazards evenafter the cigarette has been discarded.

Fenomena Majukaya Sdn Bhd Smoking Policy is as follows:

NON SMOKING AREAS - OFFSHORE
• All offshore quarters areas, all air-conditioned spaces, inside TV rooms, gymnasium, galley, mess room, kitchen, clinic, and accommodation areas, inbed, machinery deck, engine spaces and all other areas.

NON SMOKING AREAS - ONSHORE
• Inside all air-conditioned offices, corridors, lobbies, toilets, reception areas, meeting rooms and customer facilities.
• Smoking is not permitted inside factory production areas.

ALLOWABLE SMOKING AREAS – OFFSHORE & ONSHORE
• Designated smoking areas indicated by appropriate signs only.

The purpose of the Drugs and Alcohol policy is to ensure the safety and awareness of employees and to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations. The policy is also intended to make personnel fully aware of the severe penalties that can be implemented where personnel fail to comply with the requirement of the policy. FMK is committed to conduct its business in a manner that protect the health and safety of its employees and contractors through the following principles.

Drugs – illegal and non – prescription drugs are not permitted at any FMK work location regardless of whether the location is onshore or offshore. Anyone found to be in possession, or under the influence of drug will be subject to termination and shall be reported to the relevant authorities as applicable.

All personnel working at FMK location may be subject if they are suspected of being possession of drugs. Refusal by any employee to submit to a search may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination. Contractor refusing to a search will be removed from company premises. It is the responsibility of all employees taking any medication to report to their line manager and present prescribed medication for review.

Alcohol – Alcohol is not permitted at any FMK work location regardless of whether the location is onshore or offshore. Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol will be subject to termination. Contractors found to be under the influence of alcohol will be removed from company premises.
